Meet Karen Alexander, Controller at Optima Office, is a proven business manager with a strategic mindset and a winning attitude. She’s joining Optima after spending 25+ years in various roles in the Oil and Gas Industry.

For the last couple of years, Karen has assisted her husband in his General Contracting business. Specifically, she provided support in all the accounting areas including project accounting and monthly financial statements. Karen has extensive knowledge of accounting, operational accounting, and financial systems with years of management expertise.

Her skills include operational and construction accounting, financial software integration and implementation, and audit coordination. Moreover, she has experience in due diligence during acquisitions, mergers, and divestitures. She also has SOX compliance experience, including monthly control testing.

Karen Alexander is a dynamic leader with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Colorado.
