EXPERIENCE

Melinda has over twenty-eight years of hands on experience in the accounting industry. Working her way up the latter at a variety of companies ranging from Biotech including phase 1 & phase 2 clinical trials, Property management companies, R&D companies including software and device technology, various number of non-profit experience, and a wide range of start-up experience which makes her a key asset of any team she has been on in getting processes and procedures in place. She has a strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting and has high ethical standards to make sure things are completed timely and accurately.

Along with her accounting background she also has management experience in Human Resources which she not only made sure the company was in compliance with today’s ever rapidly changing laws, instituted new innovated methods of onboarding, training and wellness programs to make the employees an even stronger asset to a company.

She has a wide range of software experience including a ProAdvisor with QuickBooks which she has been using their various software packages for over twenty years, but also has experience with Peachtree, Platinum, MAS90, SAP & NetSuite accounting programs. A wide variety of payroll software’s including, Paylocity (including the HRIS system), Paychex, ADP, Valiant and QuickBooks. She adapts to learning new software programs extremely easy and is always willing to have you throw something to her get the job done.
