Heather Harris is a highly motivated and skilled professional with over 28 years of industry experience. She joins Optima after her recent position as VP of Finance / Controller at a consumer-packaged goods company. Prior experience includes telecommunications, bankruptcy, and fulfillment center services. Heather has both hands-on and management experience and is detail-oriented with excellent communication and creative thinking skills.
Heather has managed all aspects of finance and accounting to include monthly financials, budgets, financial analysis, internal controls, cash flow management, consolidated reporting, and monthly board participation. She has been the lead on several system conversions, to include Sage 100, and works well with IT groups. Heather also spearheads audit and tax schedule preparation and has managed all aspects of Human Resources.
Heather has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from San Diego State University.
