Michelle is a solutions-focused and quality-driven professional with extensive experience managing all aspects of financial and accounting operations. With over 20 years of progressive responsibility in nonprofit organizations, Michelle has acquired 16 years of experience using Abila MIP accounting software and more than 20 years of experience using QuickBooks. She specializes in bringing finance systems up to date by organizing, correcting, and streamlining processes, while also excelling in day-to-day accounting transactions and financial preparation for organizations that are already operating efficiently. Michelle’s qualifications include budgeting, audit preparation, grant tracking and reporting, financial analysis, internal controls, cash flow management, financial reporting, and payroll processing.
Michelle holds a Master of Business Administration from Eastern Oregon University and is a member of the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society for business majors. She also holds the Financial Modeling and Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification from the Corporate Finance Institute in British Columbia, Canada.
